About Us

WE ARE AN FAA FRIA APROVED FLYING SITE

KCAM flying field is located approximately 12 miles west of Dover Airforce Base in Sandtown, Delaware. The Club operates out of 33 acres on which two runways are located. The longer east-west  runway is approximately 800' x 200' and has a section of Runway Fabric helpful for smaller models and EDFs. The Second runway, a north-south runway is approximately 400' x 150'. We also have an area for U-control flying.

Our field is clear of the "normal" presidential TFRs centered around Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach.

What we do

KCAM participates in varios community programs including Adopt a Highway, Toys for Tots and Home of the Brave Food Drive.
